About me

Hi, I’m Linda. I’m a Clinical Psychologist who doesn’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach to therapy. This is why I use a variety of different therapeutic techniques that are in line with a client’s specific goals and needs.
I am really interested in a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) perspective known as ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) due to its practical nature and proven effectiveness.
I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Cape Town and Honours degree through UNISA. I received my Masters’ Degree in Clinical Psychology from Stellenbosch University. My clinical training included rotations at Red Cross Children’s Hospital, Groote Schuur Hospital and Valkenberg Hospital. At Red Cross, I worked with a variety of experts; many of whom shaped my approach to therapy.
In my life BP (Before Psychology), I worked in IT followed by brand management and advertising.
I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF).
I am also a member of the Association of Contextual Behavioural Science (ACBS).
